About us

Apex Education is an Alternative Provision that launched in September 2024, supporting young people who may benefit from a different approach to education.

We currently operate across three sites, two in Ipswich and one in Lowestoft. We are a sports based education provider run by a team of professionals with over 25 years of leadership and teaching experience in high schools. 

Students will arrive on-site at 9.30am either via our shuttle service or their own transport arrangements. We will then begin registration and complete an emotion based intervention before moving on to a fitness session followed by either a Maths or English lesson. Before lunch we will also complete targeted theraputic interventions alongside either a PSHE workshop or a sports based activity. Lunch will be provided at 12pm. The afternoon will consist of off-site sports based activities which will take place at various sports sites across Suffolk. The day will finish at 2.30pm where students will either be dropped to an agreed location via our shuttle service or via their own transport arrangements.

Apex Education is based just inside the entrance to Ipswich Wanderers Football Club.
