About us
What is Apex Education?
Apex Education is an Alternative Provision which launched in September 2024 based in Bucklesham, Ipswich. We are a sports based education provider run by a team of professionals with over 25 years of leadership and teaching experience in high schools. In addition to this, our Director Scott Peat also has 12 years experience in elite sports coaching within the Academy system at both Ipswich Town and Colchester United.
Our Daily Timetable
Students will arrive on-site at 9.30am either via our shuttle service or their own transport arrangements. We will then begin registration and complete an emotion based intervention before moving on to a fitness session followed by either a Maths or English lesson. Before lunch we will also complete targeted theraputic interventions alongside either a PSHE workshop or a sports based activity. Lunch will be provided at 12pm. The afternoon will consist of off-site sports based activities which will take place at various sports sites across Suffolk. The day will finish at 2.30pm where students will either be dropped to an agreed location via our shuttle service or via their own transport arrangements.
